Halloween celebrations in Lynbrook, East Rockaway
Monica Rzewski/Herald
Where’s toto? A cute “Dorothy” and a kitty cat danced to “Glee” songs in East Rockaway.

What’s scarier — or cuter — than kids’ in costumes?

Young East Rockaway and Lynbrook residents celebrated an early Halloween with events held last weekend.

In East Rockaway, the fun was at the John Street Complex, compliments of the East Rockaway Recreation Department. In Lynbrook, the Chamber hosted Halloween Havoc on Atlantic Avenue. Ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses enjoyed treats, games, arts and crafts and dressing up!
