In Concert

Sugar Ray
Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath returns to Long Island with his band, joined by Everclear, Sponge and Lit, with their “Summerland 2016” summer tour. The bands combine for a celebration of the “golden age” of ‘90s alternative pop rock ‘n roll. More than two decades since they began, Sugar Ray remains devoted to the cause that united them: the pursuit of good times, sunshine, and great rock ‘n’ roll. Everclear fans can hear hits from more than two decades of albums including “Sparkle and Fade,” “So Much for the Afterglow,” “Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile,” and the band’s ninth album released last year, “Black is the New Black.” Lit performs post-grunge ‘90s tunes from “Five Smokin’ Tracks from Lit” and “Tripping the Light Fantastic.” Sponge, which has performed Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, also adds to the vibe.
Friday, July 22, 8 p.m. $99.50, $69.50, $39.50, and $29.50. The Paramount, 370 New York Ave., Huntington. (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com or www.pararmountny.com.
