Car crashes into tree in Lynbrook

Two injured in one-car collision

On September 17, the Lynbrook Fire Department Emergency Medical Company and the department’s Extrication Team responded to a reported auto accident on Scranton Avenue. 
Firefighters, under the command of Chief Michael Hynes found two injured persons in the one- car accident that hit a tree. The vehicle then glanced off a telephone pole at the curve near Freer Street. 
As both persons in the car were injured.The East Rockaway Rescue Squad responded as a mutual aid to assist. Each department transported the injured to the hospital. Both had non life threatening injuries.
