East Rockaway, Lynbrook have a scary good Halloween time

Residents turn out for ghoulishly fun festivities in villages

The Villages of East Rockaway and Lynbrook each held their annual Halloween festivities last weekend. Hundreds of residents — children and adults alike — dressed as their favorite superhero or scary monster.

Children were treated to arts and crafts, a fascinating magic show, some delicious sweet treats — and they even got to parade around in their colorful costumes.
