Partly Cloudy LIRR delays due to severe weather

Long Island Rail Road service was suspended for the Babylon, Hempstead, Montauk, Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma stations, as of 4 p.m. on Aug. 1.

Long Island Rail Road service has been suspended for the Babylon, Hempstead, Montauk, Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma stations. The Port Washington station is currently experiencing delays.
According to the LIRR, suspended and delayed service is due to severe weather that is moving through the area east of New York City. A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect in Nassau County and Queens until 4:30 p.m.
