On August 1, eleven Atria communities on Long Island gave their time and resources to prepare and serve food for more than 1,000 hungry and homeless people across the Island at local Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) locations. Atria employees and residents joined this Atria Volunteer Day effort as part of Atria’s commitment to give back to the larger community.

Atria Tanglewood staff members Scott Eliscu, Stephanie Craig, MaryEllen Volpe, and Chris Lang prepared and served food to 40 people at The INN location in Long Beach, New York.

“This was a wonderful experience that allowed us to give back to the community,” said Eliscu. “It was very humbling and we all walked away with a great appreciation for what we have.”
