The Young Israel of West Hempstead’s Sisterhood arranged for actress Mayim Bialik, known for her roles in the shows “Blossom” and “The Big Bang Theory,” to speak about her evolving relationship with Judaism in a sold-out event that brought dozens of people to the Hempstead Avenue synagogue.
