Merrick’s Debbie Gibson returns to Long Island with Tiffany when the '80s pop stars perform together for the first time, at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Gibson continues to delight her fans as an entertainer of immeasurable talent. She rose to fame while still in high school, with her debut single, “Only In My Dreams” in the summer of 1987, which was followed that fall by “Shake Your Love.”  In addition to her recording career, Gibson has a succesful acting career, most recently seen in her second SyFy film “Mega Python vs. Gatorid” with Tiffany as her co-star.

Historic ‘Base Ball’ Tournament
Experience baseball’s glorious past when vintage Old Time Base ball clubs from throughout the northeast play Old Bethpage Village’s teams. Nine teams will compete during the two days of friendly matches, played with 19th century rules and period uniforms and equipment. It’s a lesson in the rich history of America’s pastime.

Take a trip down the Yellow Brick Road at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre, when Plaza Theatrical Productions brings the beloved tale to Eisenhower Park. Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion as they come to life in an adaptation featuring the music of the MGM movie.
