The Lynbrook Fire Department hosted a fundraiser for the Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior last Saturday, on Earle Avenue in front of the Rescue Hook, Ladder & Bucket Co. No. 1.

Profits from this “End of Summer Block Party and Salute to our Heroes,” as well as other events sponsored by Nassau County firefighters, will be used to purchase Christmas and Holiday gifts for wounded warriors in Bethesda/Walter Reed Hospital, Fort Bragg, and Camp Lejuene, NC.
