East Rockaway’s The Cold Ducks ran in the “234 Battalion Drill” in Baldwin on August 15.
The team came in third in three events in their battalion: Running Hose, Efficiency Replacement, and Two into One. They also came in 4th place overall in their battalion. The team has shown great improvement over the past three years that they have been together, breaking several team records. Members also wore special shirts they had made up for the Buckets Event, which were conducted in Memory of the late Mayor Ed Sieban, who was a big supporter of the Cold Ducks.
