September 11 memorial ceremonies in East Rockaway and Lynbrook
The Village of Lynbrook will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial Service on Sat., Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at Memorial Park, on the grounds of Village Hall, 1 Columbus Drive. Village officials, departments will participate.
In East Rockaway’s Memorial Park, there will be a candlelight ceremony at 7 p.m., with participation of the youth and all organizations of the community, including a mass color guard organized by the East Rockaway Fire Department.
