Woman robbed in Lynbrook hotel

Cash taken, police seeking suspect

A twenty-three-year-old woman was forced to the floor and robbed in her room at the Holiday Inn Express in Lynbrook.

According to Fifth Squad detectives, the incident happened on Thursday, May 3 at 2:05 p.m. at One Sunrise Highway.

According to detectives, the victim was robbed by a man about 5’7” tall, with a thin mustache, wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.

After obtaining an unknown amount of cash, he fled from the room in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported.
