Summer’s done, school has just begun
Schools across Franklin Square and Elmont opened their doors for the 2012-13 school year on Sept. 5. Students packed up their backpacks and laced up their shoes to head back to school or for some, to start it for the first time. Students in the Sewanhaka Central High School District had one less day off summer as they headed back to school on Sept. 4.
