Carey counselor runs NYC marathon for charities

Carey Counselor Steve Carpaneto ran the NYC Marathon on Nov. 7 with Team NY Rotary to support four charities. The charities are the Ronald McDonald House NY, Polio Plus International, Gift of Life International, and NY Rotary Foundation. Carpaneto raised nearly $2,500 for these causes through donations from his family, friends and colleagues. The Carey Dads’ Club led the donors with a donation of $250. Although this was his first marathon, Carpaneto finished in just over 4 hours.
