Easter festivities at the Garden City Hotel

A visit with the Easter Bunny

Posted

Step into spring with some Easter fun for the entire family at a local landmark this weekend. The Garden City Hotel debuts “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny,” at its signature restaurant Rein, during the two upcoming Saturdays, March 27 and April 3, 9-11:30 a.m.

The morning begins with a warm welcome from the Easter Bunny. The kids can get into the holiday spirit by having their faces painted; each guest receives holiday treats from the Easter Bunny.

The holiday buffet breakfast menu costs $27.95 (plus tax and gratuity) for adults, and half-price, or $13.95, for children under 12.

The Easter Bunny returns on Easter Sunday, when Rein offers a holiday brunch, April 4, with noon and 3 p.m. seatings. The menu features varied savory food stations: meat carving, pasta, made-to-order omelets and  waffles. Other items include lobster, shrimp, crab, salmon, sliced meats, salads, fresh fruits, cheeses, assorted breads, muffins, pastries and Easter desserts plus unlimited Bloody Mary and Mimosa cocktails, coffee and tea.

Children will enjoy Easter egg coloring, a visit from  the Easter Bunny and a live Easter bunny exhibit where they can see – and pet – bunnies.

Easter brunch is $69 (plus tax and gratuity) per adult, and half price, or $34.50, for children under 12. Reservations are recommended for both events. The Garden City Hotel is located at 45 Seventh St., Garden City. Call (516) 747-3000 or visit www.gardencityhotel.com for information.
