Here Comes The Sun
The magic of The Beatles era comes alive when Godfrey Townsend and other musicians from The Alan Parsons Project join an ensemble of Indian Kirtan musicians to perform “Here Comes the Sun” – The Musical, Mystical Journey of George Harrison. The show celebrates the music and spiritualism of pop superstar George Harrison, using music from The Beatles songbook, Indian Kirtan music and meditative chanting.

Jupiter String Quartet
The Jupiter String Quartet, Adelphi University’s ensemble-in-residence, presents “The Evolution of Voice,” a performance that examines how Beethoven’s “voice” as a composer changed radically from his early, classical style to his last years as an artist of adventurous and romantic works. The ensemble performs Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 5, in A Major, Op. 18 and String Quartet in C# Minor, Op. 131, which are paired with works by Anton Webern.
