Local resident earns academic honor at NMH

Jahshanti Ronique Allen of Elmont, a member of the Class of 2015, graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon during the school’s 132nd commencement exercises on May 24.

Northfield Mount Hermon School is a coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12 and a postgraduate year. Founded in 1879, NMH engages the intellect, compassion, and talents of its students, empowering them to act with humanity and purpose. In the 2014-15 academic year, NMH enrolled 650 students from 35 states and 46 countries.
