Career dreaming at Five Towns Early Learning Center

The graduates waited their turn to receive a learning center diploma.

Summer’s end was celebrated at the Five Towns Early Learning Center in Inwood on Aug. 29 with a barbecue and graduation of 11 children from the pre-k program who will be entering kindergarten this school year and 11 kids who graduated from the learning center’s early childhood program and will begin the pre-k program.

Each child received a diploma and then told the audience comprised of parents, friends, teachers and center board members what they want to be when the grow up.

After the commencement ceremony more than 150 people took part in the annual barbecue and more than 50 prizes provided by local merchants were raffled off.
