Anne Marie Allocca/Herald
Chabad’s Sukkot party in the park brought family and friends together to celebrate the holiday. Friends, Shifra Pewzner,11, and Sarah Grossman, 10, shared a cookie.

Chabad of the Five Towns held its annual Simchat Beit Hasoeva party in Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park on Oct. 3.

The celebration of Simchat Beit Hasoeva is held during the middle days of the holiday Sukkot, which marks the harvest season.

This party in the park featured live music and dancing, the comic juggling of Ray Grins and Azamra DJ.

Shifra Pewzner, 11, said she enjoys attending the annual party, “because we are all getting together as a community.”
