PARCC exams will require the use of computer technology for students to download the test material and upload their answers.

Braverman’s daughter, a fourth-grader, wrote a persuasive class essay that argued state tests should be banned because, “they are a waste of learning time.” “Reviewing my children’s portfolio of work with their teachers several times over the course of the year is much more informative than any single event test,” Braverman said. “Our children should be more than a number.”
