Public’s help needed
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted for an alleged grand larceny on Dec. 23 in Cedarhurst.
At about 2:15 a.m. on Cedarwood Drive, the man, along with another person, allegedly unlocked a vehicle in a driveway, and took an unspecified amount of cash, an electronic device and sunglasses.
Both men are described as black with stocky builds.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 1-800-244-8477. All calls are kept confidential. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Arrests
     EAST GARDEN CITY- Shira G. Cohen, 19, of Atlantic Beach, was arrested for shoplifting from a cosmetics store on Old Country Road at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, according to police.
     LAWRENCE- Natale Borriello Jr., 42, of Inwood, was arrested for shoplifting from a warehouse store on Rockaway Turnpike at 5 p.m. on Feb. 10, police said.
     VALLEY STREAM-Miriam S. Requena-Camey, 36, of Inwood, was arrested for shoplifting from a department stores in the Green Acres Mall at 1:05 p.m. on Feb. 8, authorities said.

Grand larceny – motor vehicle   
    HEWLETT-Between 11 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 5 a.m. on Feb. 6, a gray 2013 Toyota was stolen on Dab Avenue, according to police.

Larceny from auto
     LAWRENCE-A woman reported that items were taken from her unlocked vehicle parked on Allen Street between 3 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 9:53 a.m., on Feb. 7, police said.
     INWOOD-At 6 p.m. on Feb. 5, an individual reported that radios were removed from two vehicles while they were parked on Sheridan Boulevard, authorities said.
     CEDARHURST-A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle while it was parked on Central Avenue between 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 10, officials said.
   n INWOOD-Assorted property was stolen from a vehicle parked on Morris Avenue, a woman reported at 5 p.m. on Feb. 11, according to police.
