LAWRENCE-On Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. at an electronics store on Rockaway Turnpike, Nieve A. Benson, 44, of Brooklyn, was arrested for shoplifting, authorities said.

Larceny — from auto

ATLANTIC BEACH-Between 8 p.m. on Jan. 24 and 6 a.m. on Jan. 25 on Park Street, money was stolen from a man’s unlocked vehicle, officials said.

ATLANTIC BEACH-On Jan. 25 between midnight and 7:30 a.m. on Bayside Drive, an iPod Touch was stolen from a woman’s vehicle, according to police.

INWOOD-Between 7 a.m. on Jan. 26 and 1 a.m. on Jan. 28 at Long Island Rail Road station located near Doughty Boulevard and Brunswick Avenue, a GPS was stolen from a man’s vehicle, police said.

Criminal mischief to auto

LAWRENCE- Between Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 28 at 8 a.m. a an auto body business on Burnside Avenue, a car’s sunroof was damaged while it was parked in the secured lot, authorities said.
