Arrests
NORTH WOODMERE-Tyrone A. Thompson, 47, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for shoplifting from the Kmart on Rockaway Boulevard at 11:10 a.m. on May 28, according to police.
VALLEY STREAM- Robert Mardorf, 42, of Hewlett, was arrested for shoplifting from the Home Depot on Green Acres Road at 12:10 p.m. on May 30, authorities said.
LAWRENCE-At 4 p.m. on May 28, a man reported that his Garmin GPS, an unspecified amount of money and a keys were taken from his vehicle on John Street, police said.
Criminal mischief
CEDARHURST-A restaurant employee reported damage to a window of Cork & Slice on Chestnut Street at 4:15 p.m. on May 28, officials said.
