The Center for Adult Life Enrichment hosted its annual open house last Sunday at its current home in the historic Carriage House on the campus of Hewlett High School off East Rockaway Road in Hewlett. It featured entertainment by the Stardust Singers, who are mostly CALE members, and refreshments.
CALE, a 66-year-old organization, seeks to enhance the dignity of senior adults with diverse backgrounds by promoting, sponsoring and hosting programs that are intellectually stimulating and helps to continue their quality of life.
