Fair Playing hoops at North Woodmere Park

Competitive hoops was played at the annual Sid Tanenbaum Basketball Tournament last Sunday. Howie Levine looked for an opening against Michael Schwartz during a senior division game.

North Woodmere Park hosted the Sid Tanenbaum Basketball Tournament that included two divisions of teams. Lee Rosen split the defense and went in for a layup in one of the senior division games.

The 29th annual Sid Tanenbaum Memorial Basketball Tournament took place last Sunday at North Woodmere Park.
Winning teams were the Rashawn Providence team taking the open division and the Lee Rosen squad won the senior division, men over 50.
Participants in the senior division included Syd Mandelbaum, Richie Barsel, Lonnie Zisser, Michael Schwartz, Will Fessler, Howie Levine, Kenny Mendelsohn, Lee Rosen and Jeff Navon.
All players received T-shirts and winners got a Knicks gift bag.
