Hewlett Public Schools held its annual Homecoming parade and events last Saturday. The parade stepped off in front of Hewlett Elementary School on Broadway and headed south to East Rockaway Road and through the high school grounds.
The marching band and floats made up the majority of the parade. The topper to the day was not only the wonderful fall weather, but the football team notching its sixth regular season victory with a 34-7 win over Plainedge.
