Joel Greenberg, a resident of Atlantic Beach and former Rockville Centre resident, a named partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, with offices in Manhattan, Lake Success and Rochester, has announced that his firm has expanded into Kings County with the opening of a new office headed by two Brooklyn notables, the Hon. Frank R. Seddio and Frank V. Carone, Esq.

With the addition of these two new partners, Abrams Fensterman is expanding the firm’s scope of legal services to include franchise law, cemetery law, not-for-profit law, criminal law, government relations and municipality law, and election law.

Seddio is a lifelong Brooklyn resident and has been actively involved in the Canarsie community for over 40 years. He recently retired as the Judge of the Surrogate Court of Kings County. In this capacity, he presided over the estates of Brooklyn residents and was responsible for a myriad of changes in court policies and procedures to better adapt it to the needs of contemporary society. He served in the New York State Assembly from 1998 to 2005, representing the 59th Assembly District in Brooklyn.

Carone is also a lifelong Brooklyn resident. He is the Law Chairman of the Kings County Democratic Party and was recently appointed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg to the city’s Taxi and Limousine Commission.

“We are extremely excited about joining the Abrams Fensterman firm,” Seddio said.

“Abrams Fensterman’s talented and well regarded team of seasoned attorneys will significantly extend the range of services we offer our current clients. I’m confident that our enhanced borough-wide and regional footprint will be attractive to the broad array of new businesses and industries that are moving into Brooklyn, which is quickly becoming one of the most exciting residential and commercial districts in New York City.”
