See the historical connections with Addi Catarina through Anglesea Hewlett at Rock Hall Museum in Lawrence

Addi Catarina is a Massachusetts-born artist and art educator who has a passionate interest in history.

Before posting her findings online, she began researching into Anglesea Hewlett's life after obtaining a 1917 journal penned by the young Brooklyn socialite and author. Anglesea Hewlett, the famous architect and artist's daughter, had a close relationship with Rock Hall.

In this lecture, Catarina will discuss her research approach and thoroughly analyze the intricate history of Rock Hall and Long Island as it was more than a century ago. 

Catarina will speak at Rock Hall Museum, 199 Broadway, Lawrence on Thursdsy, July 20 at 7 p.m.
