Amnesty program for Village parking violations

The Village of Cedarhurst will again conduct an Amnesty Program targeting parking violations that occurred from 2004 through 2008 in the village. The program will begin on Monday, May 16 and end on Monday, July 18.

“As with the last Amnesty Program, we anticipate a great response, “ said Cedarhurst Mayor Andrew Parise. “This program was designed not only to help persons clear their overdue accounts concerning our village, but also to offer them a distinct financial advantage in doing so.”

In addition, any person with a judgment pending against them should contact the Village Court to find out how they can pay at a savings to them. “[The] fines will be reduced by half and may be paid with cash, check or a major credit card (not American Express),” said Clerk of the Court, Sandi Gewanter.

For more information please call the Village Court at (516) 295-5522, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
