Mostly Cloudy Bike rider struck on Peninsula Blvd

A male bike rider was hit by a vehicle in Woodmere at the intersection of Peninsula and Woodmere Boulevards on June 21 at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to Nassau County Police Department. He suffered from non-life threatening injuries, according to a police spokesman, who added that the victim may have broken a leg.
No further information was available as of press time Tuesday.
