Brandeis students excel in history competition

Brandeis School sixth-graders competed in the Long Island National History Day contest at Hofstra University on March 14. Elijah Corwin, left, of Atlantic Beach, and Noam Barazani of Lido Beach, both took the second-place prize in the Junior group documentary category for a 10-minute documentary they presented on the Peace Corps. They now advance in the history competition and will be competing in Cooperstown.
