In the location of the former Debbie and Larry’s Café at 1196 Broadway in Hewlett, Ruben Garcia and Ivana Torres have renovated the space and created a tasty breakfast and lunch menu that has patrons licking their finger and returning for more.
Garcia and Torres were the recipients of a proclamation state Sen. Todd Kaminsky’s office and Town of Hempstead certificate of recognition at the official Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association grand opening ribbon-cutting on Feb. 27.
Open Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the menu features French toast, pancakes, deli and salads. There are desserts and they cater as well.
