Due to classmate Randy Lawrence’s persistence in putting together a bigger, better reunion than the 30th reunion, which was three years ago, Lawrence High School’s Class of 1978 had a 33rd reunion at the Lawrence Yacht and Country Club last
Saturday.
More than 400 people attended the six-hour event, including teachers and administrators, and shoe designer Steve Madden. “I couldn’t ask for it to be any better,” said Lawrence, who noted the next reunion he plans will be the 40th. “I am so happy that I made this happen. I accomplished what I set out to do as friendships were rekindled and people reconnected.
