Fair Brush fire at Seawane club not from fireworks

A brush fire at the Seawane County Club in Hewlett Harbor was not caused by fireworks set off on July 2, officials said.

There was a little more fire at the Seawane Country Club in Hewlett Harbor on July 2, as a brush fire ignited on the same day the club had a fireworks show to celebrate the Fourth of July last Saturday.
It took firefighters about an hour to knock down the blaze, officials said, which was not sparked by fireworks, they said.
