The Center for Adult Life Enrichment celebrating its 70th year of serving the community, especially its seniors, held its annual installation of officers ceremony in the Atria Lynbrook, a supportive living facility for seniors, on Dec. 12.

New executive board was sworn again that once again included President Richard Braverman, but now has co-Vice Presidents Rhonnie Fischman and new board member Liz Ropers. Marilyn Cranin is the treasurer, Clare Ganzfried the secretary, Francine Feigenbaum the corresponding secretary. Ganzfried also serves as president of the Advisory Council.

CALE, which began as the Five Towns Senior Center, offers a broad spectrum of programs and activities “to enhance the dignity of older adults of diverse backgrounds,” according to the organization’s mission statement, and serves as a home away from home for seniors.

“CALE is a model for what should be dome for all seniors,” Braverman said.
