The Cedarhurst and Lawrence communities held their annual Memorial Day Parade on May 30.
It began at the Veterans Memorial in Lawrence by Zion Park and proceeded down Central Avenue, then briefly stopped at the Lawrence-Cedarhurst firehouse for a short memorial service. The parade continued to Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park, where a longer ceremony took place that included remembrances of veterans and those locals who lost their lives on Sept. 11
