Temple Israel in Lawrence marked the eight-day holiday of Hanukkah with a dinner and service last Friday. The temple moved with the times and went green as its outside menorah now features energy saving LED lights.
Rabbi Jay Rosenbaum noted that is the message of Hanukkah; conservation, as one bottle of oil lasted for eight days and eight nights.
