Chaverim Five Towns is sponsoring a defensive driving class on July 27 at Kehillas Bais Yedh Tzvi of Cedarhurst.

Sign up for a defensive diving class on Monday, July 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Kehillas Bais Yedh Tzvi of Cedarhurst at 395 Oakland Ave., in Cedarhurst, sponsored by Chaverim Five Towns, an emergency roadside volunteer assistance group.

Course is approved by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and recognized by all state auto insurance companies. Receive a 10 percent discount off liability, personal injury protection and collision insurance on all your vehicles for up to three years. Get up to four violation points off driving record. No test required.

Free Chaverim items such as cell phone credit card holder, magnets and more will be given out. Masks and social distancing will be enforced.

Pre-registration is required. $60. Online, go to https://www.chaverim5t.org/book-online. If paying by check, it should be paid to Chaverim Five Towns.
