Community Chest South Shore requests your seasonal support

In lieu of its typical November fundraising event that is usually held in the banquet room of a local country club, Community Chest South Shore is now inviting people to donate to what it is called the Neighbors in Need No Show Ball running through December.

Invitees do not have to be present for a cocktail hour, dinner will not be served, there will not be any speeches or entertainment and so sorry, no dessert. What people can do is support Community Chest’s 88-year-old tradition of helping its neighbors by donating money.

“Our support is needed all year,” said Raquel Israel, who has served as campaign chairwoman for eight years. “It could be your next door neighbor, friend or co-worker that desperately needs help.” Go to https://communitychestss.org/ball/
