Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-Mineola) visited the Cedarhurst-based Labor & Industry For Education, Inc. (LIFE) on Feb. 1 that runs a free mortgage foreclosure prevention program.
McCarthy, left, toured the offices at 112 Spruce Street and met with LIFE’s Executive Director Rabbi Simcha Lefkowitz, right, and the directors of the foreclosure prevention program, discussed the foreclosure crisis and LIFE’s respite program and met with some of its participants.
