A man looking for revenge after his girlfriend was in a fight with another man last August in Inwood was arrested outside his Far Rockaway residence on April 9.

According to police, Lance Kearney, 31, of Beach Channel Drive, returned to 385 Bayview Ave. in Inwood at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, about 90 minutes after his girlfriend was involved in an altercation with another man.

Kearney allegedly threatened a 47-year-old woman outside the Inwood residence with a large black handgun and demanded to know where the man involved in the fight was. He then entered the Bayview Avenue apartment without permission and threatened a 51-year-old man, who was in the kitchen. When Kearney could not find the man he was looking for, he fled the scene.

Nassau County police apprehended Kearney with the assistance of New York City police. He is charged with burglary-first degree, burglary-second degree and two counts of menacing. His arraignment is scheduled for April 10 at First District Court in Hempstead.
