The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department marked Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 9-15) with a six-hour event that provided children and adults with demonstrations on how to stay safe during a fire.
In conjunction with the safety displays, there was also a blood drive that collected 25 pints of blood from 34 donors in three hours.
