Firefighters extinguish Woodmere house fire

Firefighters rolled up one of the hoses used to help put out a house fire on Station Place in Woodmere.

A home on Station Place in Woodmere caught fire at about 6 p.m. on June 5, according to officials.
The Woodmere Fire Department and firefighters from a few other local departments, including Lawrence-Cedarhurst and Valley Stream responded to the fire. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Nassau County Fire Marshal.
