Arrests

HEWLETT-Renen Zhand, 55, of Flushing, was arrested for selling counterfeit DVDs at the intersection of Broadway and Everit Avenue on Feb. 9 at 5:08 p.m.

LAWRENCE-Dean Afflick, 19, of Inwood, was arrested for criminal possession of property on Wildacre Avenue on Feb. 14 at 5:20 a.m.

NORTH LAWRENCE- On Feb. 11 at 9:40 p.m., Tommy Lee Leonard, 48, was arrested on Lawrence Avenue for consuming alcohol in a public place and possession of a controlled substance.

INWOOD-On Bayview Avenue, Frederick Smith was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 2:31 a.m. on Feb. 7.

NORTH LAWRENCE- Jackson Heights resident Jose Salazar-Erazo was arrested for DWI on the Nassau Expressway on Feb. 8 at 6:27 p.m.

LAWRENCE-Javier Rios, 19, was arrested on Lawrence Avenue for possession of stolen property at 5:20 a.m. on Feb. 14.

Burglary

HEWLETT-Lottery tickets were stolen from a gas station on Broadway on Feb. 9 at 1:09 a.m., police said.

Criminal Mischief

Inwood-A Jefferson Street resident reported damage to the front door of an apartment at 11:58 p.m. on Feb. 9, according to police.

Grand larceny

NORTH WOODMERE-Tires and rims were stolen from a Nissan vehicle parked on Wilson Street at 8:07 a.m. on Feb. 10, authorities said.

INWOOD-A white Ford van on Sheridan Boulevard was taken on Feb. 14 at 3:38 a.m., according to officials.
