Arrests

INWOOD-Ever Marroquin, 20, of Inwood was arrested for the burglary of a residence on Stanley Street on Feb. 27 at 1:40 p.m.

NORTH LAWRENCE-Claudette Williams, 39 was arrested for allegedly stealing $80 worth of merchandise from a store on Rockaway Turnpike on Feb. 25 at 2:50 p.m., as she attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.

Grand larceny

CEDARHURST-An unspecified amount of cash and a credit card were stolen from a woman’s handbag by two people at the intersection of Central and Cedarhurst avenues at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, police said. Fraudulent charges were made on the credit card.

LAWRENCE-Copper gutters were taken from a residence on Broadway between Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. and Feb. 27 at 2 p.m., according to police.

Petit Larceny

WOODMERE-A jacket and speakers were stolen from a shed on Milton Place at 10 a.m. on Feb. 9, authorities said.

NORTH LAWRENCE-A SONY laptop was taken from a store on Rockaway Turnpike as a man was seen concealing the item and leaving the store without paying for it on Feb. 23 at 2:50 p.m., officials said.

CEDARHURST-Gutters, most likely copper, were stolen from a residence on Westminister Road between Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. and Feb. 21 at 11 a.m., police said.

Criminal mischief

INWOOD-Damage valued at $3,700 occurred to two vehicles as a person who didn’t pay for services rendered tried to leave an auto repair shop on Burnside Avenue with his vehicle and struck the other two on Feb. 25 at 3 p.m., according to police.
