NORTH LAWRENCE-On March 27, William Castellon, 33, of Far Rockaway was arrested at 7:30 p.m. for striking an individual in the head with a beer bottle at a restaurant on Mott Avenue, according

to police.

NORTH LAWRENCE- Sir Jones, 22, was arrested on March 26 at 11:30 a.m. for driving with a suspended license while traveling on the Nassau Expressway, police said.

Grand larceny

NORTH WOODMERE-Police said a victim reported their handbag was removed from a shopping cart at a department store on Green Acres Rd. at 4:45 p.m. on March 27.

Larceny

CEDARHURST-A victim reported a GPS stolen out of their vehicle parked on Argyle Road on March 20 at 4 p.m., authorities said.

NORTH LAWRENCE-Officials said a victim reported their pocketbook and Medicaid cards were stolen from their vehicle on Rockaway Turnpike at 4p.m. on March 23.

NORTH WOODMERE-Assorted company files were removed at 4 p.m. on March 23 from a vehicle parked on Rockaway Turnpike, police said.

WOODMERE-Police said a victim reported a GPS stolen from their vehicle on Ibsen Street on March 20 at 4 p.m.

Criminal mischief

HEWLETT-A victim reported their 2009 Lexus was “keyed” while parked on Broadway at 1:30 p.m. on March 26, police said.

LAWRENCE-The rear windshield of a vehicle on Longwood Crossing was damaged by a thrown rock on March 27 at 8 p.m., according to police.

Fraud

INWOOD-Police said a Roger Avenue resident received a fraudulent check at 6 p.m. on March 22 from a company that stated they would pay her to shop at various stores.

INWOOD-An East Avenue resident reported being the victim of identity theft at 1:00 p.m. on March 26 when an unknown person fraudulently opened an AT&T account in their name, officials said.

NORTH LAWRENCE-On March 9 at 5:30 p.m., authorities said a victim reported receiving a call from a person claiming to be a Moneygram technician completing a computer upgrade and needed $993.16 wired to an account. The technician asked for the individuals last four digits of their social security number so the victim contacted Moneygram and confirmed no such update was available and the call received was fraudulent.
