Arrests

MEADOWMERE-Bhanoomatti Narain, 47, of Hollis was arrested for shoplifting at a Rockaway Turnpike department store on April 9 at 1 p.m., police said.

NORTH LAWRENCE-On April 6, Quaniqua Williams, 22, of Jamaica, was arrested for stealing Xbox games from a department store on Rockaway Turnpike at 6:30 p.m., according to officials.

INWOOD-Jose Fuentes, 30, of Inwood, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license on Loretta Street at 1 a.m. on April 10, authorities said.

Larceny

ATLANTIC BEACH-Copper pipes were stolen from an Ocean Boulevard business on April 9 at 1 p.m., police said.

LAWRENCE-Authorities said a cell phone, keys and purse were taken from a table at a business on Causeway Road at 9 p.m. on April 10.

Criminal Mischief

HEWLETT BAY PARK-Officials said a rock was thrown through a rear windshield and a brake light was smashed on a vehicle parked on Cedar Avenue on April 10 at 9 p.m.

HEWLETT-A Dolphin Drive resident reported damage to the rear door of their residence on April 10 at 11 p.m., authorities said.

MEADOWMERE-Police said a victim reported the rear driver’s side window was shattered on their vehicle that was parked on Rockaway Turnpike on April 10 at 8 p.m.

Fraud

HEWLETT-Police said a resident reported being the victim of identity theft when multiple fraudulent charges were made on their debit card at 8 p.m. on April 9.

WOODMERE-A Mora Place resident reported being the victim of identity theft when fraudulent withdrawals were made to their bank account at an ATM at 10:30 p.m. on April 10, authorities said.

CEDARHURST-Police said a Monroe Street resident reported being the victim of identity theft when three fraudulent withdrawals were made from her bank account at 9 p.m. on April 11.

NORTH WOODMERE-An Eagle Drive resident reported several unauthorized withdrawals were made to her credit card account at 3 p.m. on April 9, authorities said.

NORTH WOODMERE-A Hungry Harbor Road resident was the victim of identity theft after a fraudulent account was open in their name on Jan. 1 at 12 p.m., police said.

WOODMERE-Officials said a Derby Avenue resident was the victim of identity theft after fraudulent purchases were made on their debit card at 11 p.m. on April 5.
