Criminal Mischief

HEWLETT-An empty liquor bottle was thrown through the complainant’s rear window of their vehicle while it was parked in a driveway on Central Place on April 24 at 8:30 p.m., authorities said.

INWOOD-On April 22 at 7:30 p.m., a front passenger window was broken and a GPS was missing while the vehicle was parked on Wahl Avenue and Douglas Street, officials said.

INWOOD-Police said a Bayview Avenue resident reported that their bathroom window was damaged on April 23 at 1:30 p.m.

DWI arrests

ATLANTIC BEACH-Anthony Lepre, 63, of Long Beach was arrested at the intersection of Park Street and Ulster Avenue on April 22 at 4:30 p.m., police said.

INWOOD-Officials said Mark Smith, 39, of Far Rockaway, was arrested at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Maple Avenue on April 24 at 5 p.m.

Fraud

CEDARHURST-Officials said a Church Avenue resident reported being the victim of identity theft when a fraudulent account was opened in their name on March 20 at noon.

EAST ATLANTIC BEACH-A Rochester Avenue resident reported being the victim of identity theft when multiple department store credit cards were opened fraudulently in their name on April 25 at 12 p.m., according to police.

INWOOD-Authorities said a resident of Clinton Avenue reported being the victim of identity theft when a fraudulent charge was made to their Visa credit card on April 14 at 2 p.m.

NORTH WOODMERE-A Rosedale Road resident reported being the victim of identity theft when multiple checks were fraudulently cashed from the victim’s bank account on April 20 at 4 p.m., officials said.

Damage

WOODMERE – An unknown truck rolled on the sidewalk leaving tire tracks on a resident’s lawn and cracked the sidewalk on Club Drive on April 20 at 6 p.m., authorities said.
