Grand larceny

HEWLETT-Between 5 p.m. on May 27 and 7 a.m. on May 28, a GPS, a ratchet set and $200 in cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Moffitt Avenue, police said.

Larceny

LAWRENCE-A satellite receiver, a Bluetooth unit, a GPS and a roll of quarters were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Cumberland Place between midnight and 6 a.m. on May 26, according to police.

Cedarhurst-Four plastic wheel covers valued at $400 were taken from a vehicle on Chestnut Street on May 26 between noon and 5 p.m., authorities said.

INWOOD-On May 26, between 10 and 11 p.m., two lawn mowers were stolen from a detached garage on Mott Avenue, officials said.

HEWLETT-A GPS, an iPod and sunglasses were taken from two vehicles on Princeton Avenue at 1:05 p.m. on May 28, police said.

HEWLETT-Between 8:30 p.m. on May 27 and 7 a.m. on May 28, a wallet and $400 was stolen from the center console of a vehicle on Moffitt Avenue, according to police.

Identity theft

NORTH WOODMERE-On May 26 at 12:30 p.m., a Longview Avenue resident reported being a victim of identity theft as multiple transactions were attempted on his Chase credit card, authorities said.
