Arrests

CEDARHURST-Police arrested Kevin H. Lawrence, 23, a homeless man, for criminal possession of stolen property on Oct. 1 at 3 a.m.

Fourth Precinct officers responded to a call of a man attempting to get into vehicles in the area of Central Avenue. Lawrence was found with assorted items from a car parked in the driveway of a Holly Lane home in Lawrence.

He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property-fourth degree was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead last Sunday.

ATLANTIC BEACH-Theodore J. Faulhaber, 32, of Atlantic Beach, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on the Atlantic Beach Bridge at 3:07 a.m. on Sept. 24.

NORTH WOODMERE-Sunita Rampersand-Persaud, 43, of Far Rockaway was arrested for shoplifting assorted merchandise from a department store on Rockaway Boulevard on Sept. 24 at 6:40 p.m.

Larceny

INWOOD-Four center tire caps were stolen from a vehicle when it was parked on West End Avenue between 1 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 22, according to police.

INWOOD-Hub caps were taken from a vehicle in the parking lot of a Burnside Avenue business between Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. and Sept. 26 at 9 a.m., police said.

Criminal mischief

ATLANTIC BEACH-An Ulster Avenue resident reported damage to the front end of their vehicle at 10 a.m. on Sept. 16, authorities said.
